Greetings from the Blizzard Bloghop!

Hello and welcome! It's not quite a blizzard here, but there are several inches of snow sticking around outside from last week's snow. For those just joining me here, my name is Heather and I am a fairly new Army wife! We are stationed at Fort Leavenworth (Kansas) where my husband is attending the Command and General Staff College (ILE). We just moved here from Okinawa, Japan in December. We got married in October in Hawaii and will be having our actual wedding back home in Nashville in May. We are both from the Nashville area. We went to middle and high school together, but didn't reconnect until 2008. We did the long-distance thing for a year and a half during a deployment, time in Japan and lots of TDY time. I moved there last July so we could finally be together. It turned out to be a great decision!

While I haven't blogged much since we left Japan, I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things. It used to be a place to document the ups and downs of living 8,000 miles away from the man that I loved, but it is now going to transition to our lives back in the States, being a newlywed and being a new Army wife. Just life in general, I suppose!

Thanks for stopping in and I hope you come back!
